Today is April 2.  Yesterday morning we had a WONDERFUL first visit with our little girl!  She is adorable and has a very contented personality.  We were at the orphage for a couple of hours watching the kids interact and play.  At 12:30, lunch was brought in for the kids.  They eat injera, traditional Ethiopian food, which is a very healthy diet for growing minds and bodies.  They all ate very well then turned in for a nap.  As we settled Tigist into her crib she said "chow" to Carrie, which means goodbye.  We took lots of photos and videos, but were having trouble uploading them to the blog.  Stay tuned.

We just finished a hearty breakfast.  Josef, our driver, will be here at 9:30 to pick us up and take us to the orphanage.  We'll stay again until they've eaten lunch then we'll stop for injera (lunch) and head to the adoption agency office for a preparatory meeting for our court appearance tomorrow morning.
