National Museum of Ethiopia

We had lunch at the Lucy Lounge and Restaurant at the National Museum of Ethiopia.  This is what traditional ethiopian food looks like.  The spongy round bread is called injera and it is delicious and very healthy.  We ordered from the fasting portion of the menu.  I can't tell how awesome it is being in an Orthodox country during Lent...it is so easy and delicious to fast.  Can you imagine if every restaurant in the U.S. Had a regular menu and a fasting menu for those who follow religious observances?

  1. That would be pretty awesome to have fasting menu. I'd be all over that!. How did the food taste? Is it spicy?
